Shah highlighted the plight of persecuted minority communities in neighboring countries like Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, emphasizing the government's efforts to provide them with citizenship through the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). He criticized the Congress for opposing the CAA, which aims to grant refuge to persecuted Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists, Parsis, and Christians.

Refuting allegations made by the Congress, Shah reminded the audience of the BJP's track record during its previous terms, emphasizing that despite having a majority in parliament, the party did not abolish the reservation system. Instead, it focused on addressing issues like triple talaq, Article 370, terrorism, and introducing the CAA.

Shah also commended the joint efforts of the Modi government at the Center and the MahaYuti government in Maharashtra for their developmental work in the eastern Vidarbha region, particularly in the irrigation sector. He announced the approval of the Wainganga-Nalganga interlinking scheme, a significant project aimed at ending drought in Akola permanently. This scheme is expected to bring around 4 lakh hectares of land under irrigation in Nagpur, Wardha, Amravati, Yavatmal, Akola, and Buldhana districts, benefiting the farmers in the region.
