PepsiCo India Holdings Pvt Ltd experienced a significant increase in consolidated profits for the fiscal year 2022-23, reaching ₹267.80 crore, as revealed by financial insights from Tofler, a business intelligence platform.
During this period, the company saw a 28.47% rise in revenue from product and service sales, totaling ₹8,127.07 crore.
Previously, in 2021-22, the unlisted company had reported a profit of ₹41.63 crore and sales amounting to ₹6,325.70 crore.
Additionally, PepsiCo India Holdings Pvt Ltd saw a 20% increase in other income, which reached ₹98.83 crore in FY23.
The company's overall revenue, which includes well-known brands like Pepsi, Lay's, Kurkure, and Tropicana, surged by 28.35% to ₹8,302.02 crore in the fiscal year.
Entering the Indian market in 1989, PepsiCo has grown to be a leading player in the country's food and beverage sector.
Revenue from the beverage segment soared by 86.19% to ₹1,404.46 crore in FY23, while the snacks segment saw a 21.28% increase, bringing in ₹6,451.73 crore.
However, exports from PepsiCo India declined by 22.7% to ₹114.33 crore during the same period. In contrast, domestic revenue experienced a substantial 30.64% growth, reaching ₹7,741.86 crore in the previous fiscal year.
