Mankind Pharma announced that it would acquire Bharat Serums and Vaccines from Advent International for close to Rs 13,630 crore.
According to a statement issued by the company, "Mankind Pharma has signed and closed definitive agreements to acquire 100% shareholding of BS;V, valuing the transaction at approximately Rs 13,630 crores.".
This deal would be a milestone initiative on the part of Mankind Pharma to scale new heights in the Indian women's health and fertility drug segments. The deal would also give it access to other high-barrier products in critical care and advanced R&D technology platforms, the statement added.
