Former president of West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE), Manik Bhattacharya will now be presented at the same court on October 25. After arrest, ED officials took him to ESI Hospital at Joka on southern outskirts of Kolkata for medical check-up and from there he was presented at a lower court in Kolkata.

WBSSC scam: ED arrests Trinamool MLA Manik Bhattacharya
ED sources said that Bhattacharya was summoned to the agency office at Salt Lake in the northern outskirts of Kolkata on Monday afternoon. There he was grilled throughout the night and finally on Tuesday morning the ED sleuths showed him as arrested.
