IRCTC scam case: Court seeks personal appearance of Tejashwi Yadav

Special CBI Judge Geetanjali Goel of Rouse Avenue Court sought the personal appearance of Tejashwi Yadav on October 18 while granting time to his counsel to respond in the matter. On September 17, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) approached the court challenging the bail granted to Yadav in the alleged scam involving the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC).
Court grants bail to Amanatullah Khan in Delhi Waqf Board case

Special Judge Vikas Dhull of Rouse Avenue Court on Tuesday had set Wednesday for pronouncing the order on Amanatullah Khan's bail application after hearing the submissions of parties. A detailed order is expected to be made available later. On Monday, the court sent Khan, who was arrested on Spetember 16, to 14 days' judicial custody.
Digvijaya Singh to file nomination for Congress president

Sources close to Digvijaya Singh on Wednesday said the decision to contest the polls is his personal one, adding nobody from the Gandhi family has asked him to do so. No entry into Garba dance venues without I-Card, says MP minister

BJP MP Ravi Kishan duped of money, files police complaint

Ravi Kishan, who is the MP from Gorakhpur Sadar and a film actor, has filed a complaint at Gorakhpur Cantonment police station against a builder for duping him of Rs 3.25 crore. The police have said that a complaint has been registered and appropriate action will be taken after the investigation. The case has been filed under Section 406 of the Indian Penal Code. The actor-cum-politician was allegedly duped by a Mumbai-based businessman, said the actor's public relations officer.
