The ED had raided Raut on July 31 and arrested him the following day (August 1) in connection with an alleged money laundering scam arising out of the Patra Chawl redevelopment case of Goregaon. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has traced money laundering of more than Rs 1,000 crore in a case related to illegal mining in Jharkhand and is preparing to summon Soren again for questioning on the same. The ED had had called Soren for questioning on November 3, but the latter had sought three weeks' time citing his unavailability. He is likely to be summoned for the second time after November 15, sources said.

'Bharat Jodo Yatra to enter Rajasthan between Dec 3 and 6'

The media in-charge for the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Rajasthan, Vibhakar Shastri, said that Independent India has witnessed three major yatras -- Vinoba Bhave's yatra for 'Bhoodan' movement in the '50s, the padayatra undertaken by former Prime Minister late Chandra Shekhar in 1983, and the Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi, who is making people aware about the faulty policies of the Centre.
