PM Modi congratulates Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu on taking oath as Himachal CM

Sukhi took oath as the hill state's Chief Minister earlier in the day.
Himachal CM started his political career at 17

Sukhu did M.A., L.L.B. from Himachal Pradesh University here. He was elected class representative of Government Degree College in Sanjauli, Shimla, from 1981-82 and 1982-83. He was elected as General Secretary in 1983-1984 and remained President of Government Degree College, Sanjauli, from 1984 to 1985.

Priyanka to lead all-women march in each state capital

The party will start its preparatory meetings for this from December 15 at the state level and then district and block level. Apart from Priyanka's women march, the Bharat Jodo Yatra will start at the booth level in one month's time. The yatris will distribute a letter written by Rahul Gandhi and a charge sheet against the BJP government to every person.

The swearing-in ceremony will be held at the historic Ridge here at 1.30 p.m. that will be attended among others by party's national President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi. Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar will administer the oath of office and secrecy to them. This will be Sukhu's maiden term as the Chief Minister.
