Azam Khan, son get 2 years in jail
A special MP-MLA court in Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad has sentenced senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Azam Khan and his son Abdullah Azam Khan to two years in jail in a 2008 case. The two were, however, later granted bail. A case was registered against Azam Khan, his son, and seven others at Chhajlet police station of Moradabad district on January 29, 2008, after SP leaders staged a dharna on the road to protest checking of Azam Khan's car by the police.
J.P. Nadda to release manifestos for Nagaland, Meghalaya on Feb 14-15
Baluni said, "BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda will be on a two-day visit to Nagaland and Meghalaya starting February 14. During his visit, Nadda will release the Sankalp Patra (manifesto) for Nagaland and Meghalaya, address public rallies and chair various important organisational meetings."

Sources said that through interrogation of Ghosh as well as thorough examination of different documents seized from his residence, the central agency sleuths have come across names of at least 40 agents scattered over different districts of West Bengal who acted as the collection agents of Ghosh. These agents had been mainly operating in Kolkata and its adjacent districts like North 24 Parganas.
