BJP to protest against Cong after Pawan Khera mis-spells PM's name

The BJP has planned a protest on Tuesday at 10 Janpath. Khera while addressing a press conference could not spell properly the PM's name but later clarified that he got confused. But now a complaint has been filed in Lucknow and the BJP will protest against him. Congress Media department chairman Pawan Khera said, "We also have governments in some states, some of the governments are going to be formed in states and the season is changing... 2024 is also approaching."
Lalan Singh takes U-turn on Tejashwi as CM face in 2025

His statement came soon after Upendra Kushwaha resigned from the JD-U's primary membership and announced formation of a new political party. Kushwaha had opposed Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's announcement to make Tejashwi Yadav the CM candidate in 2025 and the JD-U probably cames under pressure in wake of this. We have not decided who will be the CM candidate.
Late Jayalalithaa made permanent general secretary of AIADMK's OPS faction

The district secretaries of the OPS faction passed a resolution to this during the faction meeting at Chennai on Monday. The leaders, including O. Panneerselvam were present in the party faction meeting. The party leaders also resolved to save the party from the traitors. Party senior leader Panruti S. Ramachandran chaired the meeting in which OPS spoke at length.
Upendra Kushwaha resigns from primary membership of JD(U)

Rahul likely to participate in party's padyatra in Bihar

The fourth and the final phase of Yatra is from Patna to Gaya, and has been rescheduled by the Bihart unit of the party from the third week of February to the first week of March. As per a senior party official, state president Dr. Akhilesh Singh decided to reschedule the Yatra as AICC plenary session will be held in Chhattisgarh on February 24 - 26. The party is expecting that a large number of leaders will go there to attend the convention.

This is said to be the first direct communication between the two leaders after the Election Commission of India (ECI) ruling on Friday giving the 'Shiv Sena' name and 'Bow-and-Arrow' symbol to the faction led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Though senior leaders from both parties declined to comment on the topics of the conversation, Pawar is understood to have conveyed to Thackeray that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) stands solidly behind him in his fight.

Dhariwal and Joshi were found accused of triggering the September 25 resignation row. The AICC list of 75 members was announced on Sunday ahead of the party's 85th plenary session in Raipur, which begins from February 24 and ends on February 26. Of the list, 55 members have been elected in the organisation elections and 20 are co-opted members. More than half of the ministers-legislators have been given place in AICC members.
