Delhi excise policy case: Raghav Chadha, Sanjay Singh named in ED charge sheet

Both leaders are Rajya Sabha members. The charge sheet only mentions their names, they are not shown as accused in the case. The supplementary charge sheet was recently filed before the Rouse Avenue District Court here.According to the charge sheet, Chadha was part of a meeting which was held at former Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia's residence in connection with the liquor policy case.
Karnataka polls: Cong promises decisive action against outfits promoting hatred

A day after the BJP promised the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) in its manifesto, the Congress promised action against individuals, and organizations spreading hatred. Many of the promises made by the party are likely to stir controversy. "We believe that law and Constitution are sacrosanct and cannot be violated by individuals and organizations like Bajrang Dal, PFI, or others promoting enmity or hatred, whether among the majority or minority communities."

He pointed out that the name of Abhishek Banerjee surfaced in the alleged recruitment scam only after Kuntal Ghosh, who has been arrested in connection with the alleged recruitment scam, referred to pressure being put on him by the central agencies to name the Trinamool leader in the alleged scam.
