SCO shouldn't hesitate to criticise nations supporting terrorism: PM Modi

Addressing the virtual SCO Summit, Modi said: "There are countries who support cross border terrorism and use terrorism as their policy instrument and give shelter to terrorists. The SCO should not hesitate to criticise such countries." The Summit is being attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, as well as leaders of the other SCO member states Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

Besides China and Pakistan, the virtual summit which will be attended by the other SCO member states including Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. India currently holds the SCO Presidency. Russian President Vladimir Putin will also be present at the summit. This will be his first appearance at an international forum after Russia crushed a coup attempt by the Wagner mercenary group late last month.

Before the Rouse Avenue Court, the probe agency filed a charge sheet against Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Lalu Prasad Yadav, his wife Rabri Devi and their son and Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav. CBI through its Special Public Prosecutor Advocate DP Singh apprised the court that a fresh chargesheet is filed in the case, despite a chargesheet already being filed because the alleged act is committed with a different modus operandi.
