Amit Shah to address public meeting near Hyderabad on May 14
BJP's Telangana unit announced on Monday that Shah will address the public meeting at Tukkuguda in Rangareddy district near Hyderabad. The saffron party is planning a massive show of strength by mobilising people in large numbers for the public meeting. State BJP leaders expect that the meeting will boost the morale of the party and gear up the cadre for the next year's Assembly elections.

Bagga's counsel, before Metropolitan Magistrate Neetika Kapoor, sought security at Bagga's house citing an incident in which two mobile phones belonging to Bagga and his father were forcefully seized by 'unknown people'. He said that they will move an application to get back the phones, at which the court told him to file proper applications.

Nageswara Rao and B R Gavai said a political party has filed this case and it would have examined the matter if people aggrieved with demolition drive were to come to the court. Senior advocateP.V. According to insiders, Shah, the former national President of the party, made it clear to state leaders that they are free to quit if they are dissatisfied with instructions from the top, and should only make their dissatisfaction public after quitting. The other option is to discuss the matter with the top leadership in New Delhi.

Attacking Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Bagga released a video saying that "if Kejriwal thinks that he has the power and the police and he can frighten the BJP activists, then he should register 1,000 cases against them not just one." Bagga went on to say that "Kejriwal used Punjab ministers and AAP spokespersons against me which proves that they are afraid and cannot sleep properly.
Intensify attack on AAP govt: Nadda to Delhi BJP
Nadda held a meeting with the Delhi BJP leaders on Saturday in which he was also briefed about the Punjab Police action against party youth wing national secretary Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga. Sources said that national vice president and Delhi in-charge Baijayant Jay Panda, party state unit president Adesh Gupta and state general secretary (organisation) Siddharthan were present in the meeting with party chief Nadda.
