Yogi's homework makes his Ministers 'uncomfortable'

There are growing whispers in the corridors of power about the discomfort being experienced by the Ministers in their new schedule which makes it mandatory for them to visit districts and spend at least 24 hours in one of them every week. To make matters worse, Yogi has directed that the Ministers can only stay in government guest houses or circuit houses, not hotels.

CBI raids 9 locations linked to Chidambaram in new case involving Chinese nationals

According to sources, the probe agency is conducting raids in Odisha, Karnataka, Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai. "The new case in which raids are being conducted is related to foreign remittance and companies and it was registered a few days back. The dealing took place in 2010-2014. During this period funds were received and sent abroad by or at the instruction of Chidambaram," said a source.
Nitish to call all-party meeting on caste-based census

While interacting with the media persons here, Nitish Kumar said that the meeting will soon be held here to discuss the issue. The Chief Minister, however, did not give the exact date and time of the meeting. "Through all party meetings, the leaders of different political parties will give suggestions on this issue. It will help us to decide the future course of action," the Janata Dal-United (JD-U) leader said.
