Following his resignation as chief minister, Nitish Kumar asserted that he had been leading the INDIA bloc, but the members were not aligning with his expectations. Kumar expressed dissatisfaction with the progress of the INDI alliance, stating that despite urging them to take necessary steps, the work did not meet their anticipated standards.
Addressing the strained relationship with RJD leaders, Kumar attributed his decision to sever ties with them to their continuous criticism. He mentioned that RJD leaders had been making several unfavorable statements against him, making collaboration challenging. Kumar specifically referred to instances such as Rohini Acharya, Lalu Prasad's second daughter, using words like "Ayogya" for his son and "Badtameez" for Nitish Kumar in her posts. It's worth noting that she did not explicitly name any leader in her statement.
Additionally, Bhai Virendra, the MLA from Maner in Patna, had previously remarked in a statement a week ago that Nitish Kumar held the position of chief minister due to the blessings of Lalu Prasad. This backdrop of internal conflicts and criticism from within the alliance contributed to Nitish Kumar's decision to resign from the post of chief minister in Bihar.
