NDA Allocates Bihar Seats: BJP Claims 17, JD(U) 16

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), reached a consensus on Monday regarding the allocation of seats among its members in Bihar. This agreement encompasses key partners such as Janata Dal (United), Lok Janshakti Party (LJP-Ramvilas), Hindustan Awam Morcha (HAM), and the Rashtriya Lok Samta Party (RLSP).

Vinod Tawde, the General Secretary of BJP, expressed confidence in the NDA's prospects, envisioning a sweeping victory in Bihar with an aim to secure all 40 seats in the upcoming elections.

Bihar, alongside West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh, stands among the states slated for polling across all seven phases of the electoral process, as per the schedule outlined by the Election Commission. The polling dates in Bihar are scheduled for April 19, 26, May 7, 13, 20, 25, and June 1.

Speaking to the media, Samrat Chowdhary, a prominent BJP leader and Bihar's Deputy CM, affirmed the conviction that the Narendra Modi-led government will secure a resounding mandate in the 2024 elections, foreseeing the allocation of all 40 seats in Bihar to the NDA alliance.
