In the midst of the fervor surrounding the Lok Sabha elections, the NaMo App has introduced an innovative feature called the 'Modi Meter'. This feature aims to offer users a glimpse into the national sentiment during the poll season and provides an avenue for virtual participation in opinion polls.
Accessible through Prime Minister Narendra Modi's personal app, the 'Modi Meter' is an interactive tool that also facilitates predictions regarding the performance of the NDA in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
The main objective behind the introduction of the 'Modi Meter' module is to promote election awareness and motivate citizens to exercise their voting rights.
During his election rallies, Prime Minister Modi has frequently echoed the popular slogan, 'Abki Baar, 400 Paar', resonating with the aspirations of the people.
The concept of the 'Modi Meter' is elegantly straightforward yet impactful. Users are invited to share their projections on the number of seats they anticipate the NDA coalition to secure both nationally and within their respective states. Additionally, they can predict the likelihood of a BJP candidate emerging victorious in their individual constituencies.
Upon logging into the NaMo App, the module automatically identifies users' states and constituencies (previously provided during registration), facilitating their participation in the predictions.
Upon submission of their forecasts, users receive a personalized card with the message 'Your Vote Can Make It Happen', which they can share across social media platforms. This serves to foster voter engagement and underscore the importance of voting in a democratic setup.
What sets the Modi Meter apart is its bidirectional flow of information. Through user interactions with the module, their predictions are anonymously recorded and utilized to glean insights into the prevailing sentiment and pulse regarding the BJP and Prime Minister Modi.
