Taking the stage together after nearly a decade, TDP supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan expressed their determination to bring an end to the rule of YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh during a massive public meeting on Wednesday. This event marked the first public appearance since the alliance between the two parties was confirmed for the upcoming Assembly elections scheduled next year.
Addressing the crowd at Polipalli in Vizianagaram district, Chandrababu Naidu deemed the alliance with Jana Sena as a historic necessity, sounding a war cry against the Jagan Mohan Reddy-led government. The public meeting, organized to conclude the Yuva Galam padyatra of TDP's national General Secretary Nara Lokesh, featured addresses from popular actor and TDP MLA N. Balakrishna.
Naidu asserted that in the upcoming 'Kurukshetra' battle, the YSRCP will be completely ousted from the political landscape in the state. He criticized the YSRCP for setting the state back 30 years and emphasized the need to remove Jagan Reddy from power.
Promising the release of the TDP-Jana Sena combined manifesto, Chandrababu Naidu outlined key proposals, including free bus travel for women, a monthly stipend of Rs 3,000 for unemployed youth, and employment opportunities for 20 lakh youngsters. He pledged to enact legislation for the safety of Backward Classes and highlighted the importance of ridding the state of YSRCP for the safety and security of women.
Naidu also raised concerns about the alleged deletion of votes belonging to TDP and Jana Sena supporters. He committed to taking responsibility for providing jobs to the youth and steering the state towards progress.
Pawan Kalyan expressed his pain at seeing Chandrababu Naidu in jail and confidently stated that the TDP-Jana Sena alliance would come to power in 2024. He emphasized the alliance's commitment to bringing about change and removing Jagan Reddy from office.
Referring to reports of Jagan Reddy planning to replace 80 sitting MLAs, Pawan Kalyan asserted that it is Jagan Reddy who needs to be removed, not the MLAs. He criticized Jagan Reddy's alleged lack of respect for democracy and accused the YSRCP of starting the tradition of insulting women.
Nara Lokesh declared that the battle against Jagan Mohan Reddy has begun and will persist until he is removed from power. He emphasized that the Yuva Galam's concluding meeting is just the beginning, not the end, and stated that Jagan Reddy is fearful of Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan.
