She cautioned against the dissemination of false information by the media, urging them to maintain their credibility. Mayawati also urged the public to be vigilant against such misinformation.

"In Uttar Pradesh, our political adversaries are anxious because the BSP is entering the electoral fray independently, demonstrating significant strength. Consequently, they persist in attempting to deceive the public through the spread of unfounded rumors," Mayawati asserted.

Nevertheless, she affirmed that the BSP remains steadfast in its decision to contest the elections independently for the betterment of the Bahujan Samaj.

Earlier, Mayawati had stated that her party's past experiences with alliances were unsatisfactory, underscoring the BSP's determination to contest the Lok Sabha polls autonomously.

Speculation had recently circulated in political circles regarding the possibility of the BSP aligning with the NDA in the Lok Sabha elections, particularly after its sole MLA, Uma Shankar Singh, voted for the BJP candidate in the Rajya Sabha polls.

In the 2022 Assembly elections, the BSP secured only one seat, but it remains committed to contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on its own terms.
