Initially filed by the Holenarasipura police, the case against Revanna and his son under IPC sections 354 (A), (D), 506, and 509 was later transferred to the SIT, aligning with the investigation into a sex video scandal involving Prajwal Revanna.

The victim, a relative of Revanna, narrated before the police that in 2013, she came to the residence of the accused, following the alleged death of her son, resulting in an alleged job offer of the accused. She narrated that Prajwal Revanna would force his advances whenever his wife was away from him, shamelessly touching her in the most lewd manner and holding vulgar talks.

Furthermore, she accused Prajwal Revanna of harassing her daughter and expressed fear for her safety following threats and the circulation of obscene videos involving Prajwal Revanna.
