Kangana Ranaut Calls PM Modi a True Secular, Liberal, and Feminist Leader

The book launch included the launching of an edited book by Ranaut - Prime Minister Narendra Modi: From the Red Fort.

There, BJP MP and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut attended a book launch event in New Delhi, which was organized by the Narendra Modi Study Centre on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 74th birthday.

The book launch included the launching of an edited book by Ranaut - Prime Minister Narendra Modi: From the Red Fort.

While delivering a speech, Kangana saluted the Prime Minister for his leadership and went on to salute the influence and grand vision that he had given.

Addressing the conclave, organized at IIC, New Delhi, the BJP MP said, "Today is the birthday of everybody's favorite Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is a great honour for me to be here and share my thoughts. I am very grateful to this opportunity. We, Indians are filled with that unique hope, enthusiasm, and excitement at this moment.". I wonder sometimes what India is, really. Is it just a piece of land? Geographies shift and continent/country maps are always in flux.

Kangana continued talking about PM Modi's global contributions, mainly during the COVID-19 pandemic, "when India stood out as an absolute leader in vaccine distribution.".

When the pandemic hit, PM Modi ensured that vaccines were delivered across the globe through India's medicine diplomacy. He guided the world with his enlightened vision, she added.

Ranaut also dwelt upon Modi's recognition at the global level by citing various civilian honours he has received across the globe. She challenged the version pushed by critics who relentlessly churn out secularism and liberalism, saying,

Those who constantly speak of secularism and liberalism know it in their hearts who the secularist, liberal, and feminist person is. It is PM Narendra Modi.
The grand affair saw many BJP leaders, dignitaries, and scholars who realized the profound impact that Narendra Modi's leadership has for India and the rest of the world.

The book *Prime Minister Narendra Modi: From the Red Fort* explored his speeches from India's iconic landmark and underlined his vision for the country's future.

Prof. Jagdish Mukhi presented key addresses on how PM Modi has strengthened India's global relations, particularly since 2014. He appreciated PM Modi's efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic and underlined his success in enhancing India's diplomatic ties and international standing.

CNMS Chairman Professor Jasim Mohammad hailed "Prime Minister Modi for his far-sighted leadership as he has further improved the country's international stature and deepened cooperation between the country and major world powers in various fields, including defense, space, and culture."

He underlined the purpose of the conclave as to reflect and promote visionary leadership by Prime Minister Modi. "Our mission is to inspire and educate people about his transformative ideas, be it for India or the world at large," he said.

He further said, "We are distributing these books not just for formal sake. Rather we want spreading knowledge and awareness regarding the initiatives and achievements of PM Modi. We want this insight to go further and also flourish in the minds and understanding and appreciation of his vision for a developed and progressive India."

Former MLA Neeldaman Khatri is of the opinion that PM Modi's foreign policy, economic diplomacy, and cultural relations have achieved tremendous success. According to him, the policies of Modi have repositioned India as a strong global player. In fact, he has given credits to his education and gender equality policies and international trade policies.

Winners of the All India Essay Writing Competition 2024, organized by the Centre for Narendra Modi Studies, were also present at the conclave. Certificate and cash prizes of Rs 10,000, Rs 7,500, and Rs 5,000 were awarded to the winners respectively for the same.

On the other hand, mementos were given to participants who were responsible for playing pioneering roles in nation-building. Among the awardees were Shams Tabrez Khan, Gram Pradhan of Usia Village in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, which was in recognition of efforts in developing a village.

The conclave was graced by guest lectures of many great luminaries who spoke of the conclave. For instance, there was Professor Dr Amna Mirza of DU Associates, President INS Rakesh Sharma and JNU Professor Dr. Manish Dabhade.
