Interestingly, the age group of 40-49 emerges as the largest cohort of voters, totaling 1,37,96,152 individuals, followed closely by the 30-39 age group, comprising 1,29,00,263 voters.

Chief Electoral Officer Satyabrata Sahoo emphasized the inclusivity of the electoral process, noting that the commission received approximately seven lakh requests from individuals aged above 85 to cast their votes from the comfort of their homes. Additionally, he highlighted the requests from differently-abled persons, underlining the commitment to accommodating diverse needs within the democratic framework.
