RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday said the Hindus live in harmony as there is continuous dialogue. Asserting India is a Hindu nation, he called for the society to unite for its security by eliminating all differences.

The RSS chief underlined that the Hindu society has to unite for its security by ironing out the differences on the issues of the language, caste and regional disputes.

"Discipline in behaviour, duty towards the state and dedication to goals are essential qualities. A society is not just formed by individuals and their families but by considering the all-comprehensive concerns through which one can attain spiritual fulfillment," Bhagwat said.

"The RSS is not a mechanical body but an idea-based outfit. It is an organization that cannot be paralleled; its values trickle down from the group leaders to volunteers, their families and to society at large," he added.
Appealing to volunteers to have wide-ranging contact in communities, RSS chief said efforts should be made to alleviate community deficiencies by empowering society.

"The focus should be on social harmony, justice, health, education, and self-reliance. Volunteers must always maintain vibrancy and encourage harmony, environmental awareness, indigenous values, and civic consciousness within families, which form the very elements of society," Bhagwat said.
