In a show of dissent, a multitude of Hindu migrants hailing from Afghanistan and Pakistan staged a protest outside the residence of Delhi's Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, on Thursday, denouncing his recent remarks regarding the controversial Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
The national capital is home to a significant population of Hindu and Sikh refugees who fled persecution in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Brandishing placards and chanting slogans directed at Kejriwal, the demonstrators called for an apology, asserting that his stance on the CAA was misguided and detrimental to the interests of the Hindu community.

Kejriwal had voiced his opposition to the CAA during a press briefing on Wednesday, attributing the law's enactment by the BJP to political motives aimed at capitalizing on the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. Expressing apprehension, he warned of potential upheaval in the existing system due to an influx of migrants from neighboring nations.
Union Minister Anurag Thakur accused Kejriwal of deceitfulness, with other members of the BJP echoing disapproval of the Chief Minister's stance.
