"The version of Hindutva propagated by the BJP is counterfeit.

"Not a single member from the BJP, Jan Sangh, RSS, or Sangh Parivar had partaken in the struggle against the British. The RSS emerged during the British rule but abstained from contributing to the fight against the British regime. It was the Congress party that spearheaded the freedom movement in the country.

"The fallacy of the BJP needs to be comprehended and communicated to the public," Siddaramaiah emphasized.

"Post-independence, the Congress made substantial strides across various sectors in India. Every dam constructed in the country was built during the tenure of Late PM Nehru and under Congress governance. To date, the BJP hasn't initiated the construction of a single dam. They master the art of deceit, fabricating falsehoods as truth.
