Governor of Jharkhand Nominates Champai Soren of JMM as Chief Minister; Extends Invitation for Oath-taking Ceremony

On Thursday, Jharkhand Governor C P Radhakrishnan nominated Champai Soren, the legislative party leader of JMM (Jharkhand Mukti Morcha), as the chief minister and extended an invitation for him to take the oath of office. Nitin Madan Kulkarni, the Principal Secretary to the Governor, confirmed the invitation, stating, "We have invited him to take the oath. Now they will decide when to take it."
