First-Time MLA Bhajan Lal Sharma Appointed Chief Minister of Rajasthan

In a sudden twist of events, the BJP declared Bhajan Lal Sharma, a newcomer to the legislative assembly, as the forthcoming Chief Minister of Rajasthan on Tuesday.

Sharma secured his victory in the November 25 Assembly elections, representing Sanganer in Jaipur district, and has a background as an active member in the BJP state unit.

Adding to the leadership structure, the state will also witness the appointment of two Deputy Chief Ministers, namely former MP Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa.
