On Sunday, RKS Bhadauria, the former Chief of the Indian Air Force (IAF), made headlines by officially joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Acknowledging Bhadauria's extensive tenure in the Indian Air Force, BJP General Secretary Vinod Tawde commended his dedication and expressed optimism about his transition into the political realm following a distinguished career in the defense forces.
Having devoted close to four decades to the IAF, Bhadauria's contributions are noted to have aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for an Aatmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India).
Originating from Uttar Pradesh, Bhadauria's entry into the BJP comes at a time when the party is yet to finalize its candidates for several constituencies in the state ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
