Enforcement Directorate Takes Delhi CM Kejriwal Into Custody Over Liquor Policy Investigation

Late on Thursday evening, the Enforcement Directorate made a significant move by taking into custody Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in connection with the liquor policy case. This action came shortly after the Delhi High Court dismissed Kejriwal's plea for protection against 'coercive action' by the agency, which had repeatedly summoned him for questioning.

Kejriwal's apprehension marks a significant development in the alleged scam, with him becoming the most prominent figure to be arrested thus far. Prior to this, BRS lawmaker K. Kavitha, former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, and AAP Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh were among those implicated in the case.
