The fresh round of questioning is expected to commence shortly, as officials seek more information in their ongoing investigation.

In a tightly secured environment, officials from the Enforcement Directorate arrived at Chief Minister Hemant Soren's residence on Wednesday to further question him in connection with a money laundering case related to an alleged land scam. Hemant Soren, aged 48, also serves as the executive president of the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM). The chief minister had previously undergone questioning on January 20 in relation to the same case, but the interrogation was deemed incomplete, prompting this subsequent round of inquiries.

The fresh round of questioning is expected to commence shortly, as officials seek more information in their ongoing investigation. Notably, a significant security presence has been arranged around the chief minister's residence for these proceedings.
