Disha Salian's Father Approaches HC, Demands CBI Investigation and Aaditya Thackeray's Interrogation

In the petition, Satish Salian claims that his daughter was brutally attacked and killed, and a politically driven cover-up followed. He is demanding the registration of an FIR against Shiv Sena-UBT leader Aaditya Thackeray and the transfer of the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

The enigmatic death of Disha Salian, the ex-manager of deceased Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has taken a dramatic turn as her father, Satish Salian, moved a petition in the Bombay High Court on Wednesday seeking a new investigation.

The petition not only questions the initial findings of the Mumbai Police but also questions the possible link between Disha Salian's death and Sushant Singh Rajput's death, which happened just a few days later.

A copy of the petition, provided with IANS, alleges that the Mumbai Police quickly concluded that Disha's death was either a suicide or an accidental fall without considering key forensic evidence, eyewitness testimony, and circumstantial information. Advocate Nilesh Ojha, lawyer for the Salian family, assured that the petition is being formally submitted and would shortly be registered in the High Court.

On June 8, 2020, Disha Salian is said to have jumped from the 14th floor of a building in Malad, prompting the Mumbai Police to issue an Accidental Death Report.

A mere six days later, on June 14, 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra residence. His death was initially declared a suicide, but it was soon transferred to the CBI, causing widespread speculation regarding a potential connection between the two deaths. The petition also brings to light allegations of political coercion, such as pressure from Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar, who is said to have urged Satish Salian not to implicate some people.

Advocate Ojha alleges that "fabricated evidence" was presented to substantiate the suicide claim, and Satish Salian's affidavit also speaks of psychological manipulation by the aides of Aaditya Thackeray and Disha's fiancé, Rohan Rai. In an exclusive interview with a news channel, Satish Salian shared his belief that his daughter’s death was not an accident, citing the lack of injuries typical of a fall from such a height.

He also pointed out the absence of bloodstains and the unusually clean state of the crime scene. These discrepancies, along with the family learning about unreported facts, have prompted them to call for a full investigation and questioning of Aaditya Thackeray.

Through reopening the case, Satish Salian wants to get to the bottom of his daughter's death and whether it may have any connection to Sushant Singh Rajput's tragic demise, keeping these unsolved mysteries in the spotlight.
