Congress Should Transfer Their Office and Flag to SP, Pramod Krishnam

Commenting on the Congress party regarding its seat-sharing and pre-poll arrangements for the upcoming by-elections in Uttar Pradesh, expelled Congressman Pramod Krishnam commented on Thursday.
An expelled member of Congress for "indiscipline," Acharya Pramod Krishnam describes himself as a "spiritual guru who has been arduously working to light up humanity in a society through spiritual and social activities."

Taking to X on Thursday, the former Congressman said: "Congress should hand over their 'office' and 'flag' too. @INCIndia @kharge @RahulGandhi."

The comment comes after Congress has decided to field their candidates for the by-polls under the election symbol of the Samajwadi Party, SP bicycle. SP President Akhilesh Yadav has said that candidates of the INDIA bloc are going to contest all nine Assembly seats in the upcoming by-polls in the state on his party's election symbol.

Interestingly, Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav have a late-night discussion on seat sharing as the Congress was keen to contest from Meerapur and Phulpur seats. In fact, Congress had demanded five of the ten Assembly seats initially, but last week, SP said that Congress had agreed to contest on two seats, Ghaziabad and Khair, leaving the rest for SP. Now, reports are coming that the Congress is not satisfied with this decision.

Yadav addressed X to answer the pre-poll arrangement: "Congress and the Samajwadi Party stand united and shoulder-to-shoulder with a great gain. The INDIA bloc will ink a new glory chapter in this by-election."

" With unprecedented cooperation and support, every worker in 'INDIA bloc' on all nine Assembly seats is charged anew with a resolve to win," he added.

"It is not about seats but about winning. Under this strategy, the joint candidates of the INDIA bloc will contest all the nine seats on the Samajwadi Party's election symbol 'cycle'.

"Congress and Samajwadi Party are united and standing shoulder to shoulder for a big victory. INDIA bloc is going to write a new chapter of victory in the Uttar Pradesh by-election," the SP President concluded.

Elections for UP by-polls will take place on November 13, while counting for this election will take place on November 23.
