The Bharatiya Janata Party cautioned Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday over his continuing alliance with the Congress party.
BJP state president Bhupendra Chaudhary made the following statement during the inaugural session of the BJP's state executive in Uttar Pradesh: "Congress does not have any strong base. It does not have any independent ideology. It wins only on the basis of alliances.".
He further said that Congress has never benefited anyone, and the same thing was realised by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.
Chaudhary said that nothing had been benefited to the backward and Dalit communities from the governments led by Congress. He described the Samajwadi Party as a family-centric party that should merge with the ideology introduced by Lohia.
He further announced that Ayodhya, Kashi, and Mathura are the places which reflect the soul of India.
"Under the leadership of Narendra Modi, India has flourished and he has accomplished things that nobody could have ever thought of; it ranges from the construction of a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya, which was lying pending for the last 500 years, to abrogating Article 370, which was a big decision in the history of our country. Now the Kanwar yatra, which used to be frowned upon, is celebrated enthusiastically," he said.
Emphasizing that the BJP will at all costs ensure respect to every party worker, Chaudhary asserted that no compromise would be made in this regard.
The one-day meeting is being attended by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Ministers Brajesh Pathak and Keshav Prasad Maurya, ministers, legislators, and MPs. Party president J. P. Nadda will address the cadre later in the day.
