Big and powerful people inside India and abroad have united to remove me: PM Modi

Modi highlighted the concerted efforts of powerful entities aimed at his removal, emphasizing the collective strength of "Nari Shakti" (women empowerment) and "Maatru Shakti" (motherhood) bolstering him amidst adversities.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday asserted that a coalition of influential figures, both domestically and internationally, has orchestrated efforts to oust him from his position of power.

He acknowledged the significant presence of mothers and sisters in the audience, empathizing with the challenges they endure while nurturing their families, drawing parallels to his own experiences. Modi highlighted the concerted efforts of powerful entities aimed at his removal, emphasizing the collective strength of "Nari Shakti" (women empowerment) and "Maatru Shakti" (motherhood) bolstering him amidst adversities.

"Mothers and sisters have come in a large number here. Your struggle and the challenges you face to nurture your family, Modi has seen this in his house. These days big and powerful people in the country and abroad have united to remove Modi," he said while addressing a rally at Chikkaballapura in Karnataka.

"But, because of Nari Shakti and Maatru Shakti's blessings and Suraksha kavach (safety armour), Modi is able to move on fighting challenges. Serving mothers, sisters and daughters and protecting them is Modi's priority," he added.

Asserting his unwavering commitment to the welfare and protection of women, Modi outlined various initiatives undertaken by his government over the past decade, including the support extended to women's self-help groups and the establishment of programs such as 'Lakhpati Didis' (women entrepreneurs).

In the political landscape, BJP's K. Sudhakar is nominated for Chikkaballapur constituency, while the JD(S) has fielded M. Mallesh Babu from neighboring Kolar, reflecting the alliance's strategic electoral maneuvers.

Reflecting on the recent Lok Sabha elections' first phase, Modi expressed optimism over the National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) favorable performance, heralding the advent of a developed India ('Viksit Bharat').

Taking a swipe at the INDIA bloc, Modi criticized the opposition alliance for lacking cohesive leadership and a visionary agenda for the nation's future, attributing their legacy to corruption scandals. He lauded the energy and dedication of JD(S) veteran H. D. Deve Gowda, underscoring his own admiration and drawing inspiration from Gowda's enduring commitment to Karnataka's progress.

Expressing gratitude for Gowda's presence and blessings, Modi emphasized the symbiotic relationship between the NDA and JD(S), solidified since the latter's inclusion in the alliance in September of the preceding year.

As Karnataka braces for the upcoming polls, divided into two phases, Modi's address resonates with a blend of political strategy, gratitude, and a call to uphold the values of empowerment and progress.
