Amit Shah Affirms PM Modi's Strong Advocacy for Reservation Amidst Congress Allegations

Addressing the crowd in support of Bhupender Yadav, the BJP candidate for the Alwar Lok Sabha seat, Shah dismissed the accusations as baseless fabrications. "The Congress is spreading falsehoods among Dalits, tribals, and OBCs. Let me make it clear: the BJP stands firmly in support of reservation," he asserted.

During an election rally in Harsoli, Rajasthan, Union Home Minister Amit Shah vehemently refuted the allegations made by the Congress regarding the BJP's stance on reservation for Dalits, tribals, and the Other Backward Class (OBC).

Highlighting the party's commitment to reservation, Shah emphasized, "We are steadfast in our support for reservation and will vehemently oppose any attempt to abolish it. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself champions the cause of reservation."

Shah went on to criticize the Congress for its alleged neglect of the OBC community, citing instances such as withholding the Kaka Kalelkar report and the Mandal Commission report. He praised PM Modi for granting constitutional recognition to the OBC Commission and implementing 27% reservation for OBCs in central government recruitments.

Taking a swipe at the Congress leadership, Shah mocked their repeated attempts to "launch" Rahul Gandhi, suggesting that the party's efforts had been futile. He accused Sonia Gandhi of prioritizing family politics over the welfare of the nation, claiming her sole focus was on propelling Rahul Gandhi to the Prime Minister's office.

Switching gears, Shah assured the audience of the BJP's commitment to development projects like the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP), promising regular water supply to every household in Alwar. He criticized the Congress for obstructing initiatives such as river interlinking and assured the implementation of ERCP under Modi's leadership.

Concluding his address, Shah urged the electorate to re-elect Narendra Modi as Prime Minister for a third term, promising a strong and prosperous India under his leadership.
