AAP's 11th Foundation Day: No other political party was targeted so much, says Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday extended warm greetings to the party workers, commemorating AAP's 11th foundation day. Kejriwal emphasized the party's evolution into a national entity despite facing what he claimed government scrutiny.

Kejriwal recalled the early scepticism faced by the party, noting that people questioned their ability to remain corruption-free. Despite being subjected to intense scrutiny, he highlighted that AAP holds a unique position in Indian political history.

"In the history of India, no other political party has been targetted as much as AAP has been targetted in the last 11 years. They filed more than 250 false cases against us in 11 years," the Chief Minister stated.

"All agencies of the country were put after AAP but they never found any evidence to this day," he claimed.

Asserting their integrity, Kejriwal pointed out that despite relentless investigations by national agencies, no evidence of wrongdoing has been found. "This is the biggest certificate of our honesty," he affirmed.

On this significant occasion, Kejriwal expressed a sense of loss, acknowledging the absence of party leaders Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain, Sanjay Singh, and Vijay Nair, who are currently incarcerated under what he deems as "false cases." He lamented the situation, emphasizing that this is the first foundation day without their presence.

In a defiant tone, Kejriwal praised the party's resilience, stating, "It is a matter of pride for us that none of our MLAs sold themselves or broke." Despite the challenges and legal battles, the Chief Minister remains optimistic about the future of AAP, underscoring the party's commitment to its founding principles.
