In celebration of the upcoming consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple, several jewellery retailers have unveiled new collections featuring temple-style motifs and imagery of Lord Ram. Among them, Senco Gold & Diamonds launched the 'SiyaRam' collection, while Kalyan Jewellers introduced 'Nimah,' a heritage jewellery lineup.
Suvankar Sen, MD & CEO of Senco Gold & Diamonds, noted the palpable atmosphere of devotion to Lord Ram in anticipation of the Ram Mandir inauguration. The 'SiyaRam' collection aims to capture the grandeur of the Ram Mandir and commemorate the legendary moment of Lord Ram and Sita's coronation. The designs emphasize exemplary leadership, companionship, and devotion, showcasing delicate craftsmanship.
Ramesh Kalyanaraman, Executive Director of Kalyan Jewellers, described the 'Nimah' collection as a celebration of rich heritage reimagined through contemporary design and adorned with precious stones. The designs draw inspiration from Karnataka’s temple jewellery, incorporating elements from the Ramayana. Lord Ram and the Ayodhya temple are artfully integrated into the jewellery designs, adding a touch of cultural and religious significance.
As the 'Pran Pratishtha' consecration ceremony at the Ram temple in Ayodhya approaches, these jewellery collections offer a unique way for individuals to connect with and commemorate the historic event through wearable art.
