The third edition of the Lollapalooza India will get international rock band Green Day and American singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes headlining the festival, to be held in Mumbai in March 2025, announced the organisers on Tuesday.
Organizers have announced a lineup of global artists for the event scheduled for March 8 and 9, featuring international names like Louis Tomlinson from One Direction, the now-famous "Heat Waves" indie-pop quartet Glass Animals, EDM powerhouse Zedd, American DJ John Summit, alt-rock band Nothing But Thieves, and Big Boi of the legendary rap duo Outkast.
Artists from India include Hanumankind, Raftaar x Kr$na, the legendary sitarist Niladri Kumar, Lisa Mishra, Raman Negi, Sid Vashi, Raghav Meattle, Sudan and Tawliinder.
BookMyShow Live, the live entertainment experiential business of BookMyShow leads Lollapalooza India as a promoter and co-producer for the Indian edition of the festival along with global producers Perry Farrell and C3 Presents.
Organizers said the festival had morphed into a live concert of global and local artists in pop, rock, hip-hop, EDM, and techno music.
"Expect over 20 hours of foot-tapping music across 4 immersive stages, high-energy beats, awe-inspiring art installations, trending merchandise to mark your memories, and an unmissable Lolla Food Park all set to evoke all your senses," they added.
