Actress Mallika Sherawat recently treated herself with a dose of acupuncture over the weekend, and for her, it was the best treatment of all.
As captured in a snippet she shared on her Instagram stories, she is seen lying on a spa bed with delicate needles lying across the face. Using fine steel needles that are inserted at certain points on the body, acupuncture is a practice that seeks to stimulate various bodily functions and relieve a series of health concerns, most prominently pain.
She expressed her liking for this conventional therapy by captioning a post with, "My ultimate favourite treatment - acupuncture." Before this, Saturday, she posted a video cooling her Baghdads in a pool and highlighted the joy of overcoming the summer heat with a splash in the cold water.
And a fitness lover herself, Mallika very often posts her workout sessions, too, giving her fans an idea of staying fit and healthy. The latest that she did professionally was 'RK/RKay', directed by none other than Rajat Kapoor, opposite other actors like Ranvir Shorey and Manu Rishi Chadha and Kubbra Sait.
Mallika Sherawat had made her debut in Bollywood in the year 2002 with 'Jeena Sirf Merre Liye' later, she had done quite a few significant films like 'Khwahish' and 'Kis Kis Ki Kismat'. However, it was the steamy role in the 2004 hit 'Murder' with Emraan Hashmi, which gave her the much word-required fame. She has also ventured in Hollywood with films like 'Hisss' and 'Politics of Love'.
