India celebrated the 72nd Republic Day today as the country's constitution came into effect on this day in 1950. To mark this occasion, President Ram Nath Kovind unfurled the tricolour at the majestic Rajpath. India showcased its military might during the parade by armed forces at Rajpath at the Republic Day parade as the Indian Airforce concluded the event with its last showcase. Recently inducted Rafale fighter jets culminated the ceremony by flying at a speed of 900km/hr carrying out a ‘Vertical Charlie’. All the official delegates and prominent personality concluded the event and bid their farewell afterwards.
