More than 2.5 lakh devotees visited the Ram temple in Ayodhya on the second day after the consecration ceremony, with donations totaling Rs 3.17 crore recorded, according to officials. The overwhelming response prompted Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to review crowd management measures in Lucknow and advise VIPs to inform authorities before visiting the temple. On the first day, over 5 lakh people visited, creating a challenge for authorities. The temple administration extended darshan timings, allowing devotees to offer prayers from 6 am to 10 pm.

Chief Minister Adityanath emphasized the importance of informing authorities in advance for VIP visits. He directed officials to stop additional roadways buses to Ayodhya temporarily. Adityanath also stressed the need for orderly queues, consideration for the elderly and children, and the playing of Ram Bhajans on major roads. Measures such as drinking water availability, wheelchairs for the disabled, bonfires, and jute mats were also highlighted. Strict action was urged against anyone attempting to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere during Republic Day, emphasizing the zero-tolerance policy against spreading hatred.
