"Heartiest greetings to all citizens on the happy day of Holi, festival of colours. This festival of joy spreads the message of oneness, love and harmony. This festival also depicts India's priceless cultural heritage. Come, on this auspicious day, let us all join hands in our resolve to impart the hues of incessant development, progress and happiness into the lives of all the children of Mother India," President Murmu posted.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also wished his warmest Holi greetings through social media, wishing joy and prosperity to everyone.
