Previously, the Public Prosecutor highlighted Kumawat's alleged involvement in destroying mobile phones and attempting to incite disorder in the country. The prosecutor emphasized Kumawat's role in a two-year-long conspiracy and stated that his custody was vital to uncover the entire plot.

The prosecution claimed that the accused aimed to create chaos to coerce the government into meeting their unjust demands. Kumawat, allegedly involved in destroying evidence and concealing the broader conspiracy, was apprehended on December 16.

Reports suggest that five individuals were directly engaged in planning and executing the security breach in the Lok Sabha on December 13. While two individuals entered the Lok Sabha chamber and discharged smoke canisters, two others did the same outside Parliament. Lalit Jha, believed to be the mastermind, reportedly absconded with the mobile phones of the others involved in the breach.

The accused hail from diverse regions across India: Manoranjan from Mysuru, Sagar from Lucknow, Neelam from Haryana's Jind, Amol from Maharashtra's Latur, and Lalit Jha from Bihar.
