Parliament Security Breach: Accused Allegedly Planned and Orchestrated Actions via WhatsApp Group

The investigation into the Parliament security breach incident on December 13 has seen significant progress. The Delhi Police's Special Cell has reportedly acquired bank account details of the accused and their families. This move aims to scrutinize financial transactions and assess whether any monetary benefits were received in connection to the breach planning.

Among the accused are Manoranjan D, an engineering student from Karnataka, and Sagar Sharma, who obtained his visitor's pass through the recommendation of BJP MP Pratap Simha. Additionally, Neelam from Haryana and Amol Shinde from Maharashtra were identified as those protesting with flares and were subsequently detained.

Lalit Jha, considered the mastermind, surrendered at a police station, leading to the arrest of Mahesh Kumawat for conspiracy and destruction of evidence. The recovery of burnt phones, facilitated by Jha, led to the inclusion of Section 201 (destruction of evidence) in the FIR, which already includes various charges such as criminal conspiracy, trespassing, provocation, obstructing public servants, and assault.

Jha, after filming the protest outside Parliament by Amol and Neelam, allegedly shared the video with multiple individuals, urging its circulation. The investigation continues with these developments and the evidence collected.
