PM Modi calls for mutual cooperation for post-Covid economic recovery

She was admitted to the hospital on June 12 after she developed bleeding from the nose on June 12. She was tested positive for Covid on June 2.

India logs 13,313 fresh Covid cases, 38 deaths

In the same period, 38 fatalities were recorded taking the nationwide toll to 5,24,941. Meanwhile, the active caseload has risen to 83,990 cases, accounting for 0.19 per cent of the country's total positive cases. The recovery of 10,972 patients in the last 24 hours took the cumulative tally to 4,27,36,027. Consequently, the recovery rate stands at 98.60 per cent.
Assam flood toll rises to 100, over 50 lakh affected

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that after the flood waters recede, the government would take steps to find a permanent solution to the factors which led to the deluge. Visiting various flood-affected areas of Nagaon and Morigaon districts, he also undertook a rail journey in some places. The army, and the national and state disaster response agencies are working round-the-clock to provide succour to the flood-affected people.
Ending terrorism is only way for Pakistan to help Kashmiris: India

"The only contribution that Pakistan can make is to stop state-sponsored terrorism," Nitish Birdi, the Minister in India's UN Mission, said on Tuesday replying to the Pakistani envoy's comment about Kashmiris needing UN humanitarian aid.
