India hopes further talks with China will help resolve Ladakh standoff
Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said that the two sides continue to maintain communication through diplomatic and military channels and these discussions have helped both sides in enhancing the understanding of each other's positions.
Railways operating 1,089 mail, express trains as compared to 1,768 trains during normal time
Addressing a virtual press conference here, Railway Board Chairman and CEO V. K. Yadav said, "As of now we are operating 1,089 mail and express trains as compared to 1,768 trains." He said that the railways is operating 264 Kolkata metro trains and 3,936 suburban services.

External Affairs spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said that bulk cargo vessel, MV Jag Anand, which is carrying 23 Indian nationals as the crew has been docked near Jingtang port in Hebei province of China since June 13. Another vessel, MV Anastasia has been docked near Caofeidian port in China since September 20, waiting for discharge of its cargo. It is carrying 16 Indian crew.
