Reacting sharply to BJP state unit's tweet accusing him of trying to make Punjab into another West Bengal, the Chief Minister said it was the "power-hungry BJP which had been trying to use the office of the Governor for its own vested interests". "It has been happening in West Bengal, it happened in Maharashtra, and now they are trying to do the same in Punjab," said Amarinder Singh, slamming the BJP for its "shameless efforts to force its way into power in states where they are currently not ruling".

The Department of Investment and Public Asset Management has sought bids from law firms to act as legal advisers and assist the government in the process. A domestic law firm will act as the legal adviser to the transaction and submit proposals in a consortium with an international law firm of repute, with similar experience and expertise in public offerings or OFS in capital markets, DIPAM said in a notice.
Railways to run trains from Bengaluru city to airport

Two pairs of trains will operate from Monday between Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna (KSR) station in the city and the Kempegowda international Airport Devanahalli halt station. The fare is Rs 15 for one-way trip, a zonal official told IANS. The Bengaluru international airport is about 40km northeast of the city. The first train will depart from KSR at 4.45 a.m. and reach the airport station at 5.50 a.m.
500-600 Covid centres in phase 1 of vaccination: Delhi government

Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain made the announcement during a press conference while commenting on the protocol that will be followed for the rollout of the vaccine. The minister said "500-600 Covid centres will be set up in the first phase and it will be further escalated to 1,000. Storage facilities have been made. Ultimately, 1,000 centres will be there."
