India is taking a firm stance against what it perceives as bullying behavior, according to Defence Secretary Giridhar Aramane. Speaking at the INDUS-X Summit, he highlighted the ongoing tensions stemming from China's military activities along the Line of Actual Control in eastern Ladakh.

He credited the quick response to challenges along the Line of Actual Control to enhanced intelligence and situational awareness, facilitated by US assistance.

He emphasized the significance of international support, particularly from allies like the US, in providing intelligence, information, and equipment when needed.

Aramane highlighted initiatives like the Initiatives on Critical and Emerging Technologies (iCET), aimed at fostering innovation and collaboration between India and the US. He also emphasized the growing bilateral cooperation in aerospace and defense sectors, with India increasingly relying on the US for advanced technology and equipment.
