Congress removes actress Khushbu Sundar as party spokesperson

Amid speculation of South Indian actress Khushboo Sundar joining BJP, Congress removed her as party spokesperson on Monday.

Khushbu Sundar joined the Congress in 2014 after meeting with then Congress President Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, and then Vice-President Mr. Rahul Gandhi. She was the National Spokesperson of the party until today.

•    The actress and politician joined the DMK in 2010 that quit DMK on 16 June 2014.

•    She joined Congress in 2014 and about to leave the party to join the BJP.

•    On Sunday she took her flight to Delhi and she refused to comment on reports of her switch.

•    She is likely to join the BJP on Monday in presence of J.P. Nadda.
