Jacinda Ardern : New Zealand's Most Famous Prime Minister

She earned her Bachelor's in communication studies in Politics and Public Relations from the University of Waikato in 2001. After completing her studies, she worked in the offices of Prime Minister Helen Clark.In 2008, she was elected as the member of New Zealand Parliament for Labour Law.

The third woman prime minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern, has completely changed the fortune of the country. She is one of the youngest heads of the state in the world. Ardern has been praised all around the world for her management skills of handling COVID-19 in New Zealand. She is 40th prime minister of New Zealand.
Jacinda Ardern was born in Hamilton on July 26 1980. At 14, she started working in a fish and a chop shop.

She earned her Bachelor's in communication studies in Politics and Public Relations from the University of Waikato in 2001. Moreover, Jacinda took the initiative in her school days and convinced the management to allow girls for wearing pants.  Growing up in an environment where there are social disparities, Jacinda was shocked seeing this behaviour around her.

It was her aunt Marie, who pushed Ardern into politics and later Ardern became the member of Labour Party.  In 2008, she was elected as the member of New Zealand Parliament for Labour Law. At the age of 37 years, she became the youngest leader of the New Zealand Labor Party, and after three months she was elected as the Prime Minister of New Zealand.

Managing your personal and professional life is not an easy task, but even though Jacinda was the Prime Minister of New Zealand she gave birth to two kids, And by that Jacinda Ardern became the second-women after Benazir Bhutto to give birth to children while in power.
Jacinda Ardern has always known for taking effective decisions. After the terror attack of  Mosque Christchurch March 2019, within ten days she decided to change the laws on the sale of weapons. Her decision making and management skills are being exceptionally good for New Zealand. People around the world still praise her as she stood out and used social media to aware people and requested them to follow the rules and regulations during COVID-19 pandemic. Not only this but for her country Jacinda announced that she and all members of her government would take 20% pay cut for the next six months to fight in the hard times COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to this, to create a better economic condition, she established a 4-Day work week and made new public holidays. And with all these managerial skills, New Zealand announced the relaxing of lockdown measures on May 11 2020.
Jacinda Ardern is a great example of a true leader. Her efforts and contributions towards her country make her the most popular Prime Minister of New Zealand. People still appreciate the way she handles the situation during lockdown and COVID-19 pandemic.
