When Amelia presumed he was not available, Bailey speedily interjected, remarking, "I'm available. It's just, I think there's a genetic predisposition."

The discussion then shifted to his experience playing on-screen romance. When asked if his work on Bridgerton had made him a better lover, Bailey laughed out loud. "No! It's a fantasy, isn't it? Romance is real and solid," he dismissed any idea that the show's idealized romance had rubbed off on him in real life.

Female First UK says that the star of Jurassic World: Rebirth recently revealed that he nearly didn't even audition for Bridgerton, where he has a role as Lord Anthony Bridgerton. Looking back on that choice, he explained, "I recall just being like, 'Wow, this is going to be huge'," when he read the script, which totally changed his mind.

Since the leading man's role in Bridgerton, Bailey's career has broadened with major roles in high-profile movies like Wicked and Jurassic World: Rebirth. He has also publicly discussed the changing environment for gay actors in Hollywood, explaining that he has "unlearned the idea of feeling limited" based on his own sexuality.

Bailey gives credit to past actors for setting the trail and shattering industry walls. He continues to be dedicated to making that advancement, particularly by accepting roles that defy traditional casting, including his leading role in Jurassic World: Rebirth.

Having begun as a child actor at the Royal Shakespeare Company, Bailey's talent was apparent from the very beginning. At just eight years old, he already had the stage to himself playing Gavroche in a West End stage production of Les Misérables. Throughout his years, he has received recognition for his work on Bridgerton and also for the political drama miniseries Fellow Travelers.
